Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This policy explains information handling on Factdoor.com, an informational publication. Contact editor@factdoor.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information associated with a visit

Our hosting and delivery providers process connection information such as IP address, browser details, requested URLs, timestamps and error information to deliver and protect the website. Search terms you enter are used to find relevant articles and, when advertising is enabled, to request relevant search advertising. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in search fields.

Advertising and related searches

Factdoor uses Google's AdSense for Search services. Related searches on an article lead to a search results page, which can include clearly labeled sponsored results alongside our article results. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP addresses, search and browsing information, and cookies or similar technologies for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and service delivery. Where permitted and based on applicable choices, advertising cookies can support personalized advertising using visits to this and other sites.

Read how Google uses information from sites and apps and Google's Privacy Policy. Manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center. Third-party opt-out resources include YourAdChoices.

Local storage and campaign information

The site uses browser storage for preferences and navigation context. Campaign identifiers and the source creative text may be carried between an article and search results to support advertising attribution and Google's source-transparency requirements. The creative context expires after 30 minutes. Browser storage used by the site and Google can have different lifetimes; clearing browser storage removes local preferences and may cause choices to be requested again.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and message. We use it to address your request and maintain the necessary correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment details, government identifiers or sensitive personal records.

Your choices

Where required, a consent or opt-out message offers controls over advertising data use. You may revisit available controls through Your privacy choices. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, or opt out of certain advertising-related sharing. Submit requests to editor@factdoor.com; we may need proportionate verification before acting. We do not require account registration to read articles.

Advertising-related disclosures can be treated as a sale or sharing under some U.S. state privacy laws. The privacy choices page provides opt-out information. Browser privacy settings and supported opt-out signals may also affect processing. A choice on one browser or device may not apply to another.

Providers, retention and security

Service providers process information for hosting, delivery, communications and advertising. Processing may occur outside your country. We retain information for the purposes described, responding to requests, security and applicable obligations; the period depends on the information and purpose. Google controls retention for information it handles under its own policies. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and changes

Factdoor is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We may update this policy as the site changes and will revise the date above.
